Who is eligible for Atal Pension Yojana scheme?
Any citizen of India is eligible for this scheme if:
The person’s age is between 18 to 40 years
He or she must have a savings bank or post office savings account
College students can also apply for this scheme
All bank account holders who are not members of any statutory social security scheme
These are the main eligibility criteria for APY that are to be looked after.
Who is not eligible for Atal Pension Yojana ?
Now do know that people below 18 years or above 40 years are not eligible to apply for this scheme. A minimum contribution period of 20 years is also compulsory hence anyone contributing below 20 years will not be accepted.
