I believe the khata bifurcation fee means the khata transfer fee only. If you are planning to get your khata transferred, a fee is to be paid. The fee is 2% of the stamp duty of the sale deed. This fee should be paid by the new owner in demand draft in favour of Commissioner, BBMP along with submission of application for issue of Khata. If you want to know more about it, read
