I remember I was asked who made the first house in the world in class X and I was not able to answer it. I did not even bother to know the answer as well and I was not having a phone to myself to search it. But recently during a quiz competition held in our office, we were asked to answer the question. Again I could not answer but later came home and checked who the person was. I came to know that Frederick L. Ackerman, the architect, designed the first house in the year 1935-36.

Which is the world first expensive house?

The world’s first expensive house is the Buckingham Palace in Westminster, London and is  worth Rs $ 2.9Billion. It is owned by the British Royal family and is indeed a lavish property to live in. You will be surprised to know that it has 775 rooms, 78 bathrooms, 92 offices and 19 storerooms. The monarchs of England have been living here since 1873. It is stretched across 828,000 sq ft area and its garden is alone 40 acres. A huge property indeed.

The second most expensive house is Antilla in Mumbai, India that costs Rs $1 billion. It is of course built for the Ambani’s namely Mukesh Ambani and is a lavish one as well.

I hope you won’t fail to answer who made the first house in the world like me ever after reading this.
