• Detailed Specifications

General Specification:

Usually, Architect presents these specifications in the form of a drawing that helps to get an estimate of the construction. These specifications help us in understanding the materials that will be used, ratios and quantities.

Detailed Specifications:

The detailed specification contains every aspect of constructing the building such as construction material, the workmanship of construction work, the ratio of different materials, mixing method, the quantity of each material, material preparation process and how to conduct the installation, different testing requirements and how to measure the work.

The detailed specifications are generally formed in the written pattern which helps to execute the work.

Detailed specifications can be categorized into two parts:

• Special Specifications

Standard Specifications:

There are some standard specifications that do not need to be created over and over again. These are some guidelines that are followed by the construct professionals.

Special Specifications:

A special type of project has these kinds of specifications. In tender documents, some special specifications are included with a separate heading ' Special Specification'.
