Hi, It’s been only a year since I bought my AC, and it hasn’t been cooling properly. I called Blue Star customer service and asked them why my Blue Star AC is not cooling? The executive told me they would send someone to check the issue. After the technician arrived, I asked him the same question. Here is what he told me.

Why is Blue Star AC Not Cooling Properly?

  • Clogged Air Filter:

He told me that clogged Air filters are one of the main reasons why Blue Star AC not cooling. Simply cleaning the Air filter can solve the problem.

  • Dirty Coils:

According to him as the coils get dirtier, the efficiency of the AC also gets greatly reduced. This makes the AC work harder to cool the room. Moreover, if the coil is dirty enough, the room will never be cool.

  • Insufficient Coolant:

He also said that the coolant circulating through the evaporator coils cools the air flowing in. When the coolant level goes down, the AC's cooling capacity also decreases.

  • Faulty Compressor:

The job of the thermostat is to sense and inform the compressor about the room temperature. He mentioned that a defective thermostat won’t be able to do that, and that is why my Blue Star AC is not cooling.

He changed the compressor to solve the Blue Star AC is not cooling issue. If your AC has stopped cooling, then you can hire the technician directly from the below link:
