Why fire NOC is required ?The Fire Service Departments of different states issue Noc to builders. The document is a licence that signifies that the property is fire resistant and can withstand fire-related accidents with minimal damages.
The fire department has set certain rules and guidelines for the construction of a residential complex or commercial building. The builder needs to get NOC from fire department when the construction has started. All the fire safety standards need to be in accordance with The Bureau of Indian Standards(BIS). If the building does not comply with the rules, it can be sealed by the State Fire Department.
