I noticed that my AC inverter wasn’t cooling properly. After inspecting the AC for some time, I noticed my Hitachi inverter AC timer light blinking 12 times. I was pretty concerned about this and contacted an AC technician. I explained the whole situation to him, and he said he would come and inspect the AC properly. He inspected both the indoor AC unit and the outdoor unit properly.

The technician told me that this was happening because the indoor unit was not able to communicate with the outdoor unit. He also said that one of the wires connecting the two units was broken.
Following that, he replaced the wire. Here are the steps that he followed.
He pushed down the retaining clip to unlock an AC power cable.
Then, he slowly pulled the cable out of the socket to remove the cable.
Finally, he installed the new cable and secured it.
