Khar East Reviews and Ratings (7 Reviews)
I am living in this area for almost 5 years now and I appreciate the convenience of having schools, clinics, and groceries nearby. However, the building maintenance in older societies is a challenge, and redevelopment is needed in many pockets.
Khar East still retains a close-knit community feel. I grew up here and recently bought a flat. The area is transforming slowly, though traffic congestion remains a concern.
Affordable housing options pulled me here. Transport is easy with Khar and Santacruz stations nearby. Streets are lively but can be chaotic. It’s manageable if you’re used to Mumbai’s hustle.
I invested in a compact 1BHK near Khar Road station. Demand from working professionals ensures low vacancy. While the area lacks polish, consistent rental income and proximity to BKC and Santacruz make it profitable.
This area works well for people who like being close to everything. Transport access is excellent. It can feel congested at times, but the convenience makes up for it.
This locality offers predictable returns. It may not promise rapid growth, but its consistency makes it a safe long-term option.
I’ve been renting here for 2 years. The area is decently connected by trains and autos. Local markets are handy, but the roads can be narrow and crowded. Noise from traffic is an issue, especially during peak hours.
