Kothanur Reviews and Ratings (10 Reviews)
Living in Kothanur with family has been good. Area is safe, and local markets have everything we need. Kids’ school is 15 minutes away. Only concern is not many parks or play areas here.
Visited an old friend who recently moved to Kothanur. The area has a calm vibe, with many trees and not too much noise. It gives a good balance of city access and peaceful surroundings.
I rent out my house here. Many students and working people look for flats nearby because of the colleges and offices around. Demand is good. But public transport options are still limited.
We moved here with our child. Schools and small clinics are nearby, and it's a safe place. There are parks inside our apartment, but the general area lacks public play spaces. Would’ve loved a bigger community park.
Kothanur is a calm and green area in North Bangalore. It’s nice for families, students, and working people. The roads are decent, buses are available, and things like schools, stores, and hospitals are close.
Living near Hennur-Bagalur Main Road gives us excellent connectivity to the city. The presence of quality preschools like Kids Castle Preschool and Daycare and Olive Shoots Academy Preschool & Daycare provides great early education options. Our children attend St. Michael's High School, which is just a short drive away.
Kothanur is rapidly emerging as a real estate hotspot in North Bangalore. The planned infrastructural projects and good rail connectivity are major growth drivers.
I stay close to Thanisandra Railway Station, around 2 km away. It is a huge advantage for me as a daily commuter. The Agrahara Main Road and Golden Palms Road offer smooth connectivity to major IT hubs and commercial centres. Kothanur offers a good quality of life.
Kothanur provides a calm and peaceful environment. I love the greenery around Sainikpuri children's park and nearby open spaces. Public transport could be improved, but overall, it’s a good place for students.
Our society in Kothanur is well-maintained, and garbage collection happens regularly. The area feels neat. There are some local markets for fresh veggies and fruits. But signal strength and phone network inside buildings is a bit patchy at times.
