Malka Ganj Reviews and Ratings (6 Reviews)
Went to Malka Ganj market with a friend to buy household items. Prices were decent, and you can bargain a little. The place feels a bit congested but has everything from groceries to utensils.
Living in Malka Ganj for 10 years now. It’s a proper residential area. Daily needs are easily available and the market is always active. Roads get crowded during evening hours and parking is tough
I work in Connaught Place and chose Malka Ganj for affordability. Buses are frequent, and the nearest metro station is around 10 minutes by e-rickshaw. The morning rush is there, but it’s still better than many other places in Delhi.
My family shifted here for proximity to good schools and local markets. The area has a typical old Delhi feel — friendly neighbours, familiar shopkeepers, and everything you need just downstairs. We’ve adjusted well.
Malka Ganj is full of old houses and long-time residents. It has a lived-in feel. You’ll find small parks, temples, and shops all around. But yes, traffic noise from nearby roads is something you get used to.
As a student living near North Campus, I find Malka Ganj quite affordable. There are PGs, tiffin services, stationery shops, and small cafes all around. The area is lively, especially during exam season or festivals.
