It’s been quite manageable in Nehru Vihar. The rent is reasonable, which was my main concern. Metro connectivity is decent with Gokulpuri not too far. Roads inside can get a bit crowded, especially in the evenings, but main roads are fine.

The streets are narrow here, and parking is always a headache. Public transport is available, but reaching the metro takes some time depending on traffic. There are enough clinics and basic shops, which is helpful.

You’ll find small food joints and grocery shops nearby, so daily needs are easy in Nehru Vihar. It’s a practical place if you’re working nearby and don’t want to overspend on rent.

Nehru Vihar looks quite promising for budget housing. I invested in a small unit here mainly because rental demand is steady. Many working people prefer this area due to lower rents and access to nearby metro stations. Infrastructure is still developing. It may not be a premium location, but for long-term returns and consistent rental income.
