I have been renting in Thaiyur for 8 months. It is aquiet, affordable area and is close to my office in Siruseri. Just wish there were more shops nearby.

I have invested in a property in Thaiyur and happy with the property appreciation rate here. The locality has less competition, and infrastructure is slowly improving and so is the rental demand. Two years back, I did have a bit of trouble getting tenants but now, I get tenants very easily.

Visited the locality for a family function and love the area during my three days stay here. It has a peaceful atmosphere and less noise compared to the city but public transport is not that great. Eateries are also not good in numbers.

The area’s closeness to Kelambakkam and Siruseri makes it attractive for affordable housing projects. My property has tenants throughout the year assuring me good rental income and property rate appreciation is also high here. The social infrastructure is not that good but I hope it will improve in the upcoming years.

As a tenant, I find Thaiyur safe and budget-friendly. Daily needs are a bit scattered but manageable with online delivery.
