Vivekananda Nagar Reviews and Ratings (8 Reviews)
Bought a small 2BHK here as a second investment. The area has a steady demand from working professionals due to its location. It may not appreciate rapidly, but it offers stable rental returns. Roads are decent, and local markets are there.
We’ve been staying here for over 20 years now. Vivekananda Nagar has changed slowly, but for the better. There are more facilities now, but it hasn’t lost its quietness. Local shops, temples, medicals are within reach. People here are friendly and helpful.
Been staying here for almost 2 years. What I really like is the calmness. It doesn’t feel like the middle of Bangalore. Most of the houses are independent and old-school. My gym and daily store are within 5 minutes. Public transport is okay, but no metro yet.
I found Vivekananda Nagar to be a low-risk investment. It's a stable, mostly residential locality with good rental demand. The area is well-connected by buses and close to key hubs.
Our family house here is rented out. Tenants stay for long periods, which says a lot about the place. It’s well-suited for middle-income families and couples. Clean surroundings, good water supply.
Managing property here is smooth because amenities and service providers are nearby. Drainage issues during heavy rains sometimes require attention.
The area is good for families and working professionals alike. Shops and eateries are easy to reach. However older buildings sometimes face plumbing and maintenance issues.
I moved to Vivekananda Nagar mainly because it's not too far from Koramangala where I work. The rent here is much more reasonable compared to central areas. There are local cafes, medical shops, and a decent park nearby. Autos are easy to get, but peak-hour traffic on Mysore Road gets messy.
