The demand for rentals is steady if not high in this area. I have a property here for the past 7 years, and have rented one of the flats. The income is steady due to the infrastructure and location. there is, however, a lack of high-end shopping outlets nearby.
My friends and I visited the Saras Baug garden and Ganesh Temple last weekend, and had a good experience. The area is definitely vibrant and perfect for families. Streets were clean but I found there was lack of enough parking spots, which can be troublesome for tourists.
The area is peaceful and serene. Rent is cost-effective as compared to central Pune. I recently moved to Pune here for my job, and the metro access is convenient for me to commute. All essential needs are nearby too - pharmacies, supermarkets, local shopping outlets, and eateries.
