Vidyavihar Reviews and Ratings (10 Reviews)
I've been living in Vidyavihar for over a five years. The proximity to Somaiya Vidyavihar campus and easy access to the railway station make daily commuting easier for me. The area is relatively peaceful, with essential amenities nearby.
Living here means having access to a plenty of eateries offering both local and international cuisines. The area is safe, but cleanliness during monsoons can be better.
Been renting here for two years. The locality has a good mix of residential complexes and standalone buildings. I live in a 1 BHK apartment. While amenities are ample, the area gets crowded during college hours due to nearby institutions.
Invested in a commercial space recently. The area's footfall, especially during college hours, ensures good business prospects. The area is surrounded with good facilities and infrastructure, which increases the overall value.
Vidyavihar is a lovely area to live in. It is safe and homely but the area around train stations get cramped and parking is a nightmare.
The area feels vibrant and I like that its close to many malls and cafes. Traffic is a huge problem here but still it is a good area to live in
Vidyavihar is nice for families to settle down. it is close to many good schools like the universal school and mumbai Public school. Nightlife is almost zero here so that is a slight drawback
Nice area overall. Safe and pleasant. It gives old Mumbai vibe. But i feel most houses and apartments here are old construction and there's limited modern amenities. also parking is a struggle in many blocks
The neighborhood has matured good. It has good potential for long term holding. the only limitation I feel is the old infrastructure. like narrow lanes, old buildings, parking issue and lack of modern housing. this can affect the value as well
I attented a seminar at Somaiya Vidyavihar and loved the locality. Reaching there was easy because of good roads and connectivity. Finding parking spot was a bit challenge but overall, a nice area .
