the traffic on basin bridge road is a nightmare. It is constantly dusty and noisy with heavy vehicles passing by all day and night..

he neighborhood feels very congested and lacks any modern vibe. You won't find any cool cafes or bookstores here just small tea stalls and street vendors

rental yield is low here ..as the area has a reputation for being congested and prone to flooding which keeps the prices suppressed compared to Vepery or Perambur.

there are a lot of local markets and shops nearby for groceries which is convenient but the overall environment is very loud and feels messy to walk on the raods.

There are plumbing issues in many buildings here. also parking may be tough for people with cars..its very basic locality for short term purpiose

The rent is very cheap here compared to other areas near Central. Local markets are highly affordable for buying daily fish and vegetables. Public transport is easily accessible.

Heavy waterlogging happens every single monsoon season without fail. Water enters the ground floors easily. The drainage system is very old and chokes constantly.

Schools are located within walking distance, which saves travel money. However, the streets are very narrow and crowded, so there is no open playground space for kids.

Reaching Chennai Central station takes just 10-15 minutes by bike, which is great. But the heavy traffic and smoke on the main roads during peak hours are terrible.

It is a highly crowded area but the community is very close-knit and helpful. All basic items are available right outside your doorstep, though hygiene needs massive improvement.

The air quality is poor and the constant noise from heavy vehicles on the main road makes it hard to rest. Open garbage dumping on street corners causes severe mosquito menace.

I come here to visit old friends. Bringing a car inside this area is out of the question due to the extreme lack of space. Shared autos are the only practical option.

The land rates are relatively lower, but structural development is slow due to the low-lying nature of the zone. Good only for generating low-income rental portions.

TBH, it's a decent budget spot for staying with college friends. Food messes are super cheap and you can commute anywhere in the city easily using local buses.

Loading stock into the shop is tough because delivery tricycles block the narrow lanes completely. The frequent power fluctuations in this pocket can disrupt business operations.
