Pallikaranai Reviews and Ratings (12 Reviews)
I bought a 3BHK here in 2019. I enjoy living here, but the sewage system still needs serious attention during monsoon.
Visited a friend in Pallikaranai. It felt peaceful and green compared to the city. But the inner roads are too narrow for comfort.
We shifted here due to the affordability. It’s not posh, but we get everything nearby—schools, shops, clinics—so it works for us.
I like the fact that I get a spacious home for less rent compared to Velachery. But traffic during school hours is hectic.
Having lived here for years, I see better road work and new shops opening up. It's slowly becoming self-sustained.
Pallikaranai Marshland ecological park is sited here, during seasonal times we can see more than 200 species of birds and migrated species here. Access to all amentities like schools, hospitals and shopping centers like Phoenix Malls is possible from this area. This area is surrounded by natural green and reserve forest. Traffic congestion in main roads is usual here.
Commutes are straightforward in Pallikaranai thanks to 200 Feet Radial Road and Velachery Road. Daily needs are easy to manage. Avinash Hospitals is also close for medical attention. Evenings at the Pallikaranai Marsh Wetland are a big plus. It is calm, green, and great.
If you are selecting a residential unit, do a monsoon check for drainage and verify bore/metro water arrangements. There are wetlands. The properties are available at affordable price.
We use SH 109 for work commutes and head to Grand Galada Centre Mall for shopping. Overall, it is a good locality.
The location is okay for families. Lanes closer to the wetland can have mosquitoes. Occasional waterlogging after heavy rain. I like walking to the Pallikaranai Bird Watching Area on weekends.
We chose this area for quick drives via SH 109 to my office. There is a famous temple, Shri Aadhipureeswarar. The neighbourhood feels residential rather than chaotic.
I invested in a plot near the 200 Feet Radial Road. The location felt promising and prices have started moving up slowly. I'm holding it long-term.
