Thandavaraya feels calm compared to other parts of Chennai. I usually travel towards Egmore side, and the roads via New Avadi Road are manageable, though evenings get a bit crowded. There are decent eateries around Kilpauk. Having Chetpet Eco Park nearby is a big plus for weekend relaxation. Rent is slightly on the higher side.

It’s quiet, clean, and well-maintained. The neighbourhood feels safe and friendly, and most daily needs are easily accessible.

Thandavaraya is a convenient locality for me. Dr. Mehta’s Hospitals is very close, which saves a lot of time. The streets are neat and not too noisy. I like that small cafes and stores are available without going far. Metro access from Egmore Metro Station is also good.

This area has a premium feel and attracts a good tenant base. The presence of reputed institutions like CSI Bain School and healthcare centres such as Dr. Mehta’s Hospitals ensures consistent rental demand. Connectivity via Egmore Metro Station further adds convenience.

Daily essentials are available, but for more options, I have to go towards Shenoy Nagar or Egmore. Traffic near Kilpauk can be frustrating during office hours. There aren’t many hangout spots nearby, so weekends can feel a bit dull.

Premium area but the metro being so close makes it worth the rent. Getting around Chennai from here is genuinely easy. Calm streets, good neighbourhood feel. One of the better rental pockets in this part of the city.

Settled, well-connected, and not chaotic. That is what you want in Chennai and this area delivers it. Hospital nearby, park close by, metro walkable. No regrets.

Metro at Pachaiyappa's College is barely 850 metres away and that changes everything about the daily commute. Tidel Park and Ramanujan IT City are reachable without depending on a car. One of the more practical areas to live and work from in Chennai.

Good area, always has been. Parking is getting tighter on the inner roads but that is the only real gripe. Everything else about living here still works well.

Schools close by, safe streets, and a park within reach. Quiet enough through the day. Works well for a family, not much to complain about honestly.

Medical colleges and the metro together keep rental demand strong here. Tenants don't leave easily once settled in Kilpauk. Reliable market, consistent returns, low vacancy.

Easy to reach and easy to move around in. Calm compared to most Chennai localities at this price point. Pleasant area overall.

Medical college and metro both close which makes this area practical for students. PG rents are high but the location justifies it if you can stretch the budget. Food options around the area are decent enough for everyday needs.

Main roads keep deliveries moving but inner lanes are narrow and parking near the commercial stretch is always a fight. Good residential customer base though. Area works if you manage the space constraints.

Quiet mornings, Chetpet Eco Park nearby for a walk, hospitals close by. Everything needed at this stage of life is within easy reach here. One of the more comfortable and well-connected pockets to live in within Chennai.
