Chakan Reviews and Ratings (17 Reviews)
Bought a 2BHK last year—great value, but still waiting for nearby shops and schools to develop. Roads have improved, though traffic can pile up during peak hours.
As an owner, I enjoy the low maintenance and good community vibes. Property prices are slowly rising, but infrastructure development is quite slow.
I invested in a pre-launch project in Chakan. The price was great, but possession has been delayed. Still, I’m optimistic because of future metro plans.
Tenant here since 2022—safe neighbourhood and clean air. Only issue is public transport options are limited, so I rely on my bike a lot.
Nice roads, peaceful vibe, and my flat is spacious. But as a tenant, the nightlife and hangout spots are non-existent.
Living in Chakan helped me save a lot on rent. The area feels safe, though not very lively. It's fine if you value peace and savings.
Chakan is both a residential and industrial area. most buildings are old and there are just a few well maintained apartment buildings. Nonethless, it is a good area for affordable living
I live here on rent and it's been around 6 months. Apart from poor drainage and limited transportation, it is a good area and close to many essentials
Chakan is usually very noisy and crowded probably due to industrial activities. I am renting a 1 BHk near mahatma phule chowk and the rent is quite reasonable but area is very dusty
I have a house in Shree Swami Samarth Colony and that part is somewhat green as its close to some grounds and parks. there are many hospitals and clinics nearby. But the nashik pune highway is heavily congested and the area around chakan market is very unclean and crowded
Chakan is growing rapidly and is quite underrated in real estate market. The property rates are going up and new projects are coming up too. It is part residential and part industrial so most people don't like to live here but the growing amenities and residential apartments make it a good choice in coming years.

Living here as a tenant is peaceful, but daily travel to Pune city can be tiring. However, the rent is affordable and the society is well-maintained.
