We have been living here for the past ten years, and the area has grown so much. The metro access has made it so easy for people to commute but it's a bit far from the locality. There has been a word going in about the expansion of metro which I think will help a lot. There are basic amenities easily available nearby.

I moved here for my new job in Siruseri. It's around 12 km from here but I travel easily by bus. The rent is affordable here so I find it convenient. A few of my friends stay nearby and the neighborhood park has shaded paths and water fountains. There are pet-friendly cafes nearby which I love.

I rent my spare rooms to med-college students. Tenants appreciate the proximity to Chromepet labs and malls. There is Nanmangalam Lake Check Dam nearby which is very popular among students and young professionals. It's an affordable locality so helps me generate good rental income.

I recently joined a pottery workshop at a riverside studio in this area and love the morning atmosphere. It's quiet, peaceful, and very calming. But it gets very crowded by 9 am, so be ready for a hectic traffic.

I live in a rented flat in a society in Kovilambakkam and the surrounding is very quiet and lovely. The mild breeze in the evening helps my basil and mint herbs grow in our balcony. There are local nursery which sells organic saplings at discount too. The community is nice and kind. But the occasional powercuts can be annoying so you may have to get an invertor.
