Kuthambakkam Reviews and Ratings (9 Reviews)
Not ideal for college-goers or working professionals who travel daily. Long commute, limited buses. That said, rent is super low and air quality’s better than most of Chennai.
We moved here for the affordability. It’s calm, and people are friendly. But connectivity to the city is weak, especially late evenings. Great for families wanting space and fresh air.
Own a plot here and thinking of building soon. Calm environment and large open spaces are a plus. Water supply is decent. Public transport and shops still catching up.
Nice for those who want peace. Schools and temples are nearby. Roads get lonely after dark, so I avoid stepping out late. Still, I prefer this over a noisy city.
Kuthambakkam feels like home I have been living here over a decades now, This place good in culture and tradition and there is steady improvement in roads and transport. Lots of temple to visit. Limited bus access to the city and no metro or railways nearby.
Peaceful and green but lacks basic public transport. It is also quite far from main city and imp work hubs.
It's not a high end area or best for investment but the growing infrastructure and improving roads have potential. it has an appeal mostly among medical college students because of saveetha medical college and hospital
As a student, this is a good area. I live in PG so my rent is very cheap and convenient. My college is nearby. I love the eateries here. There's an amusement park in the area too. I also like the Chembarambakkam Lake
My parents live here and the area is safe and quiet. We have everything for daily life, but it's not the place for young working folks yet. Development is slow but steady.
