I’ve been renting in Marsur for almost a year now. BMTC buses are frequent, and I also use bike taxis for quick trips. Rents are affordable compared to most areas in Bangalore. Plenty of local eateries and grocery shops nearby.

Bought a plot in Marsur two years back. The prices were quite low then, and now I’m seeing steady appreciation. There are many new layouts coming up. Proximity to Hosur and Electronic City is attracting young professionals. The area still lacks big hospitals or schools.

The roads inside our gated layout are clean. But outside roads are still patchy. There are a few schools nearby, and we’ve got a decent clinic just 5 minutes away.

The area is calm, and rent is reasonable. I found a 1BHK near the main road, safe for a single woman like me. No big malls around, but local shops are there for daily things.

I have seen the area change over the past 4 years. It’s still peaceful. Supermarket opened recently near the main road. Connectivity is improving, but we need better drainage during rains.

Marsur is famous for the marsur lake nearby. I moved here mainly because it was way more affordable than areas closer to the city like HSR or Electronic City. You get decent space and quieter streets compared to inner Bengaluru. but don't expect a nightlife here. its mostly quiet

Housing is cheaper so lots of families are moving here. it depends on your preference. if you like a low end lifestyle with quiet surroundings, you will like it here. but if you work in those key IT hubs of the city, commuting everyday will be an issue.
