Moved here last year and it’s been peaceful. There’s greenery, parks, and a lot of friendly neighbors. Feels like a real community.
I start my day with idli at this tiny shop near my street—Perambur has the best breakfast spots! Plus, it's super well-connected.
You can get to any part of Chennai easily from here. Bus, train, even share autos are plenty. No complaints on connectivity at all.
Honestly, renting here has been stress-free. Good schools nearby, hospitals are close, and the roads are better than most parts of Chennai.
Perambur is affordable, safe, and surprisingly green. My apartment overlooks a small park, and I love sitting there in the evenings with tea.

Perambur is close to a few IT hubs so the demand is mostly from professionals. Family demand is less as the area needs more development in terms of roads and transport links

Been here for 6 years now and love how everything’s close by. The railway station makes travel super easy and there’s always good food around.
