Been living here 3 years. Roads are improving, and new developments are visible. Less crowded and safer than many city areas. Good schools coming up too.

The locality is growing steadily. You can see new shops and apartments coming up. Still needs better hospitals and schools, but improving every year.

Renting here is budget-friendly. Neighborhoods are calm and people are warm. Not much nightlife, but perfect for working professionals who value silence after work.

It is comfortable for daily life. Chengalpattu Junction is close, so travelling to Chennai city is easy. Local markets and small shops cover all basic needs. I often visit Kolavai Lake for evening walks. The area feels calm and less polluted.

I stay in Chengalpattu mainly because my work is nearby. The town feels peaceful but a bit slow. For malls and bigger restaurants, I travel towards Tambaram. Buses and trains are available, but peak hours get crowded. Daily needs are easy to manage.
