Thandalam Reviews and Ratings (7 Reviews)
The area is affordable and has well-maintained roads. But lack of public transport creates a hassle for me to commute everyday. If you don't have your own vehicle, it will be a problem in commuting. Local autos also charge a lot.
I love the area. It's a good balance between urban and rural life. The lush greenery and open spaces make it peaceful while social amenities like hospitals and marts are readily accessible.
I have rented one of my properties here, and the demand is good. But the only concern I get is the traffic congestion sometimes, and the recent influx has led to too much pollution in main road.
Recently shifted here for my job, and I find the area relaxing. My work is hybrid, and I have my own vehicle, so travelling has never been a problem to me. It's a bit away from the crowded main road, which makes it peaceful. But recently construction projects have increased, making the air polluted.
Investing here feels safe due to planned residential growth. Connectivity challenges may limit short term appreciation.
The air feels cleaner compared to city centers but the public transport options is not very good here.
Been living in Thandalam for three years now, and I have a mixed opinion. While I love the peaceful surrounding with greenery, metro connectivity is not there. the closest one is the airport metro which is around 9-10 km from here.
