Dighi Reviews and Ratings (11 Reviews)
I was looking for a flat in Dighi. It is not too expensive area. It is safe and calm. Some buildings are new, but few are very basic. No big traffic now, that’s good. May grow more in future.
I live in Dighi with my wife and kid. There are schools and clinics nearby, so day-to-day life is easy. It is quiet and relatively safe too. But, the roads need more work - lots of potholes and dust, especially in inner areas.
Bought a plot here 12 years ago. Back then, there was nothing. Now, buildings are coming up. Area is developing slowly, but street lighting is still missing in many lanes.
Visited the Vitthal temple with some neighbours for a bhajan. Area felt safe and clean. The locals were friendly too. But some internal roads need repair - very bumpy in parts.
As someone who works in Yerwada, Dighi works well for me in terms of rent and commute. Buses are available in the morning and evening. Flats are spacious, and the crowd is decent.
This area is quite affordable, but it's a bit far from the main city colleges. Public transport from the Dighi Bus Stop is okay. It's a quiet place to study, but you have to be prepared for the commute if your college is not nearby.
Dighi is slowly developing due to its proximity to Bhosari MIDC. The rental demand is from the industrial workforce. The appreciation will be slow but steady. Has some decent schools, colleges and hospitals nearby.
We moved here for the budget-friendly housing. The area has schools like Dr. D.Y. Patil School. It's a developing locality, so the roads and other amenities are still improving.
I work in the Bhosari industrial area, so Dighi is a convenient and affordable place to live. The connectivity via Bhosari Alandi Road is good. However, the area lacks good entertainment options and restaurants, for which one has to travel to other parts of Pune.
Dighi is a peaceful and quiet locality. The cost of living is low. However, the healthcare facilities are very basic, and for any specialised treatment, one has to travel to the main city.
The best part about Dighi is that it is still affordable compared to other areas in north Pune. It is close to Bhosari MIDC, so for people working in Bhosari MIDC, it is very convenient. However, there aren’t many entertainment options or big stores.
