I have a 2 BHK house here, and the roads are well-maintained and properly lit in the evenings. Looks vibrant, but don't have many cafes or good dining options. But I often go to Nanmangalam Lake Check Dam, which is around 4 km from my place. It's peaceful and feels calm.

My rented flat is spacious and airy with good sewage lines. But rainy days are horrible, because the streets sometimes flood before drains clear up. Anyway, I love the connectivity through public transport, which makes me commute easier.

I visited the famous Keelkattalai Lake once, and it was a peaceful and calming experierence. But make sure you go early in the morning. otherwise it gets too crowded.

I have lived here for almost a decade now, and love the peaceful vibe. Unlike posh areas like Egmore or Anna Nagar where property rates are higher, this is a quiet residential area with basic essentials nearby. Airport is also less than 10 km from here, and so are other public transport. Commuting is never a problem, except traffic sometimes.

Keelkattalai lake morning visit pandradhu oru nalla space, Lake la ukkandhu paarkum bodhu calm and vibrant ah erukum. Airport la erundhu kita eruku and roadways to major areas cover aaghudhu. Peak hour la traffic eruku midnight la auto avlo seekaram kidaikadhu but own vehicle erundha easy to commute pannidalam. Infrastruture developing la eruku and Metro work on processing, knjo years la indha place developed ayudum aprm land kidaikuradhu kastam dha.

Keelkattalai is one of those areas where you get good space without heavy rents. Very value for money and practical too.

Its calm and residential. Good for families too. rent is fine if you compare with Velachery but still, it does not have many good malls or cafes.

Keelkattalai has developed nice over the years. It is well connected too and feels like a good place to settle down. Water supply is fine in my lane but I know some streets still rely on tankers

Safe and easily accessible to markets, gyms, cafes etc. It can be noisy near the main junctions and also around parks. Also there is drainage concerns during heavu rain too

The pros here is the proximity to GST Road and OMR. demand is growing and theres low vacancy risk as well. It is not suitable for luxury investments though. infrastructure still improving
